long has Gardenside been in business?
We
are the North American distributor for one of the world's largest
garden furniture manufacturers operating throughout Europe and Asia for
over ten years. Gardenside has been in business since 1994.
Do
you ship anywhere in the USA/anywhere in the world?
We ship anywhere in the USA. Shipping charges are based on the amount of our order. The normal shipping rate is 10% of your total order. This covers usual shipping cost within the 48 mailand states. Heavy, large or oversized products may require an extra shipping charge due to their weight and size. Additional shipping charges also apply to special service deliveries, and to Alaska, Hawaii, Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket or other island destinations. Please call or

Does
Gardenside teak come from renewable sources?
Yes. All of our products are manufactured from teak grown from controlled sustainable-yield sources.
Does
Gardenside have sales/clearances/offer floor or demo pieces
at discount prices?
No. We offer our furniture at factory-direct prices all year round.
How durable is teak? Does it have to be maintained?
Teak
is an extremely dense, grained hardwood that resists rot, warping,
shrinking, and swelling. Its high natural oil content continually
preserves the wood so it can be left outdoors for decades.
Teak
does not require maintenance. Left alone, it will weather to a silvery
gray color over time. Indoor teak, or pieces treated periodically with
teak oil or sealer, will maintain their golden brown color.
Does Gardenside furniture come assembled?
Most
of our furniture is sub-assembled. All of the fittings (dowels, brass
screws, hex wrenches, etc.) are packed together in a cloth bag ready
for easy assembly. Carefully prepared instructions and drawings are
provided for each product. We make every effort possible to make
assembly of our products easy and enjoyable.
Classic Steamer Chairs, Clifton Chairs, Newport Reclining Armchairs, and Island Lounge Chairs come fully assembled.
What
is Gardenside's return policy?
All
our products sold to the original owner are guaranteed for standard
use. We offer a limited three-year warranty for residential use, and
one year for all folding chairs and for commercial use. This warranty
does not apply to damage resulting from accident, alteration, misuse,
tampering, negligence, abuse, or normal wear. Returns are accepted with
our prior authorization, and are subject to a minimum 20% restocking
fee plus shipping charge.
